Poor Charlie, bearer of a parking fairy.  Enter New Avalon, a futuristic new world where everyone has a fairy, whether it is a parking fairy, a clothes fairy, or even a all the boys you like fairy, like her friend Fiorenze has.  Charlie conquers up a plan to get rid of her fairy, by befriending Fiorenze.
WOW.  I love this book.  When reading it, I was like, wow, this book is like Uglies, but more chicklity.  And I loved Uglies.  So, I looked at the back cover, and guess what?  Justine is married to Scott Westerfield, the author of the Uglies series.  Figures.  Back to the book.
I now want a fairy.  Please?  Except not a parking fairy. :-)  Again, not much to say about this book, but I JUST LOVED IT.  YOU NEED TO BUY IT NOW,  'Kay?

Reality Chick!

Another book that Bookworm Readers gave me...thank you!
Title: Reality Chick
Author: Lauren Barnholdt
Pages: 270
Simon Pulse, 2006
Genre: Cont. Fiction
Recommeded to: Teen girls 12-14
Rating: B+

Ally is your normal teen girl:  off to college, making new friends...except she's only In the House, a reality show where everything these 5 freshman say and do are documented and shown to America.  OOH...juicy! As she meets cute boys, potential friends, and says goodbye to some old, we see it all, through the eyes of Ally.
There's not much that I can say about this book.  It was fun to read, but not something I'd buy.  If you see it at your library, it's worth reading, but don't spend $8.99 on it!  Kay?

Paparazzi Princess: Secrets of My Hollywood Life

Yay Yay Yay Yay Yay!!  Secrets of My Hollywood Life, by Jen Calonita, is MY FAVORITE SERIES EVER!!!  I lloooove these books...so when I found out there was a new one coming out, my friend, Bookworm Readers, loaned me it!  THANK YOU!!

Title: Paparazzi Princess: Secrets of My Hollywood Life
Author: Jen Calonita
Pages: 294
Little, Brown and Company, 2009
Recommended to: Teen Girls, 12-16
Genre: Cont. Fiction/Hollywood
Rating: A+++++

STOP!! If you haven't read the first book (Secrets of My Hollywood Life), stop here!! DO NOT READ THIS!  Spoilers inside.

Ohhkay. So, Paparazzi Princess is all about how Kaitlin Burke's hit show, FA, is coming to an end, and her making decisions on what she wants to do with her career.  Broadway, singing, movies...oooohh hard decision! (I would take any :-))  Anyways, she struggles to decide, and is taken under the wing of  two of Hollywood's biggest party girls, Ava and Lauren.  As she gets some negative media, she realizes that she might just be ruining her career...
Of course, the first book was the best, but this one is pretty darn fine too!  Kaitlin Burke is my favorite book heroine ever, and Austin, (her BF) is super adorable.  Even though my life is nothing like Kaitlin's, I feel like I can relate to her, struggling with being a teenager, let alone having the whole world watch her grow up and make mistakes.  Although some of us may want to be in the limelight, this book gives you an insider's take on Hollywood.  So real, that you may want to consider your dreams.
YOU NEED TO BUY THIS BOOK!!! NOW. TODAY. stop reading this and go to the bookstore now!
Forever yours,
Chicklita

MY FIRST REVIEW!!!

Wow! I'm so excited to be posting my first review.  And the lucky book is....Three Willows, by Ann Brashares!
Title:  Three Willows
Author: Ann Brashares
Pages: 318
Delacorte Press, 2009
Genre: Contemporary Fiction
Recommended to: Teen girls 12-16, especially for fans of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants!
Rating: A-

It's a whole new sisterhood!  That's the gimmick behind 3 Willows, the newest book from Ann Brashares, the ah-mazing author behind the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series.  Polly, Jo, and Ama have just graduated from middle school, and are going off to high school next year.  Over the summer, they each have different adventures, cute new boys, and a new respect for themselves. Whoops! (I forgot to add that they go to the same HS as the Sisterhood, and kinda sorta know them.)
So...that pretty much sums it up!  When I first saw this book, I was like...OMG!! A new sisterhood book!  But then I realized that it wasn't going to be as good as the first series.  Boy, was I wrong!  3 Willows is way better than the Sisterhood.  I first read through this book supa fast, and thought it was sorta iffy, but then read it again and adored it!
I loved how Polly, Jo, and Ama are younger than the Sisterhood when we first meet them, so it was easier for me (the same age as them) to relate.  They've been friends ever since they were babies, (like me and my 3 friends) and are realizing that they are so different now.
All in all, this book is great!  Ann, please keep writing..we love your books!  This is definitely a must buy.
Yours, Chicklita
